“Our Recovery Centers offer life-changing support to people working through mental health and addiction challenges,” said North Country Peer Recovery Assistant Director Erika Collins. “We want to ensure our services are readily available and accessible to the community…Expanding our hours in Berlin during the week will help make that possible.”
Offered at no cost throughout Northern New Hampshire, White Horse offers peer recovery support, including walk-in services, one-on-one coaching sessions, and group meetings.
“Taking the first step towards recovery is hard,” added Collins. “But no one has to do it alone. Our peer recovery coaches are trained and understand what our participants are going through— we can walk the path to recovery with them.”
White Horse – Berlin is located at 38 Glen Ave., Berlin and is open 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Founded in 2014 in Center Ossipee, New Hampshire, White Horse Recovery has grown from a small organization into a leading nonprofit with 28 employees across four locations in Northern New Hampshire, providing both mental health and substance use disorder services, regardless of ability to pay.
